Inspections are completed in the driver app against your organization's own checklist. Pre-trip runs at clock-in, before the vehicle leaves the yard; post-trip runs at clock-out.

  1. Clock in and select your vehicle. Any due inspection is offered immediately.
  2. Work through the checklist, marking each item pass or fail.
  3. For a failed item, add a note and a photo. Both travel with the defect.
  4. Submit. The completed inspection is stored against the vehicle with your name and the time.

When something fails

A failed item raises a defect against the vehicle, visible to maintenance straight away rather than at the end of the shift. Depending on your organization's configuration, certain failures will also hold the vehicle out of service until the shop clears them.
